Agencies operate under strict regulations, and the care a patient receives is often dictated by their insurance coverage. For example, if a patient is covered for A, B, and C, but requires D and E, they will only receive care for A, B, and C. Our platform bridges that gap, providing patients with access to care for D and E. Additionally, there are many services that agencies don’t cover at all, which is where our platform steps in to provide the necessary support.
We market Nurse Connect to patients primarily through social media platforms and strategic partnerships. Our goal is to provide patients with valuable information about the services offered on the platform, how it works, and how they can benefit from connecting with freelance nurses. Through targeted content and collaborations, we aim to raise awareness and help patients easily access the care they need.
With Nurse Connect, payments are handled securely through Stripe. After booking, you can chat with the patient through our secure in-app messaging to agree on your rate, either per hour or per service. Once confirmed, the patient enters their payment details and a holding deposit is placed to secure the appointment. After the visit, the final cost is adjusted based on confirmed hours and processed automatically through Stripe.
Taxes are managed directly through your Stripe account. You’ll be able to track your earnings, download tax documents, and manage any required filings right from your Stripe dashboard.
Your experience and skill level are highlighted through your profile, where you can showcase your credentials and certifications. Additionally, your availability and rate range can help differentiate you based on your scheduling flexibility and pricing structure. Yes, you can! After your booking is confirmed, you can click into the patient’s profile to create and update visit notes. While you’re at the visit, you can chart in real time, and all your notes will be automatically saved under that patient’s visit date for easy reference later.
